despite the sound quality, ANY show without pigpen gets 4 stars, 5 stars if no pig or keith

Other One > Ramble On > Sugar Mag are PROFOUND. Incredible jams. The show may be uneven overall (1st set not stellar) but those three tunes are awesome.

13 years old, sat under the piano on stage with my best friend. I think Keith was fairly new to the band. Lots of dance space on the basketball court. Many twirling girls. I remember feeling like my entire world was changing before my eyes - doors opened in my brain and I knew there was a whole new place to be, new sounds to hear, sights to see and feelings to feel. 100 shows later, I wondered if that first one was really so special, or if it was just the newness. Well, despite the recording quality, I can stlil feel the energy in this recording...

The sound quality is pretty poor for a SBD/FM whatever, but the playing is really hot. It's a personal favorite, but not for everyone. Song selection is typical for the time, lots of banter, and NFA smokes! A solid 3 stars for the devout.
